Sponsorship and Support
AAISN may receive financial or in-kind support from sponsors, exhibitors, donors, commercial supporters, educational supporters, and other industry participants in connection with its educational activities, events, publications, and organizational operations.
AAISN may acknowledge or recognize such support on its website and in connection with society activities.
Independence and Non-Endorsement
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Sponsor recognition does not constitute endorsement by AAISN
- Financial support does not guarantee favorable treatment, recommendation, or product preference
- AAISN seeks to maintain educational independence
- AAISN's educational content and programming decisions are made independently of commercial supporters
Faculty and Presenter Disclosures
Relevant financial relationships of faculty, presenters, editors, or contributors may be disclosed in connection with educational content. AAISN will identify all planners and faculty with relevant financial relationships and will take steps to mitigate potential conflicts of interest in accordance with applicable standards.
Disclosures will be made available to learners before the start of educational activities where applicable.
Sponsored Content
AAISN may publish clearly labeled sponsored or supported content where appropriate. Such material will be identified in a way that distinguishes it from independent educational or organizational content.
Compliance
AAISN seeks to ensure that sponsorship arrangements comply with applicable laws and professional standards, including the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, the Physician Payments Sunshine Act (Open Payments), and relevant accreditation standards for continuing medical education.
Video Content
Industry Educational Content in the AAISN Video Library may be sponsored by device manufacturers or pharmaceutical companies. All sponsored video content is clearly labeled as "Industry Educational Content."
